How Valoren works

You prepare it once.
They receive it ready.

One sitting of about 25 minutes starts it. From then on, everything a family needs — the records, the will, the letters, the instructions — is prepared, kept current, and released when the time is right.

The documents exist. The system around them doesn't.

The family file

If something happened tonight, this is what your family finds.

prepared · kept current · released when it's time
The will — signed, registered, watched
The letter that tells them where everything is
Every notification letter — drafted and addressed
The executor's brief — what to do, in what order
Sealed messages — held until it's time
…and everything else a household turns out to need — kept current, year after year.
§1

Start at the end: the day someone has to step in.

This is what the person you trust actually receives. Everything else on this page exists so that this moment works.

The message

One message arrives, from you — prepared long before.

What to do, in what order

If something happened tonight, this is the difference between a household that knows what to do — and one that has to work it out in the worst week of its life.

§2

Your part: one quiet sitting.

About 25 minutes, one question at a time. No forms, no jargon, no homework before you start.

Answer as much or as little as you like. Anything you tell us once is never asked again — every later document draws on the same answers. If a question doesn't change what you receive, it isn't asked.

A Valoren guided sitting: one question on the dark stage, with the companion record beside it.
ONE QUESTION AT A TIME
The sitting — each answer recorded into your household dossier as you go.
A Valoren assessment result: a plain-word band, never a numeric score.
WHERE YOU STAND
You always see where you stand — in plain words, never a score.

Two ways in: getting organised ahead of time, or someone needs you right now — the questions, the pace and the tone are different for each.

§3

What exists when you're done.

A household dossier — 33 records across the people, the money, the property, the paperwork and the wishes — and the documents prepared from it.

§4

Some words shouldn't arrive early.

Alongside the paperwork, you can leave sealed messages — to your husband, your daughter, the friend who'll hold things together. Written now. Read only when it's time.

Not sure what to say? Ask the advisor and it drafts three versions to choose from — built only from what you've told it, never an invented memory. Take the one that sounds most like you, and change every word until it's yours.

Annual review ritual

The system shows its receipts. A document, not a ping.

Each February, your Annual Governance Letter is ready in your portal — a printed reconciliation, to keep on file, of what changed, what expired, what was renewed. Seal customers also get a video call with their Specialist.

The Specialist call is optional — the letter is the constant.
The Valoren Advisor

Help that doesn't make you leave the page.

The answer lives beside the question. Ask in plain English; the advisor reads documents, drafts letters and messages, explains any form by name — IHT400, PA1P, BD8 — and knows your records, so its answers are about your household, not households in general.

Available at every tier from The Household Continuity Dossier upwards.

Conversations are encrypted, retained for thirty days for audit, then deleted. Your records are never used to train models.

Built so no one — including us — holds it all.

The annual ritual

A record that goes stale is a record that fails.

Life drifts — accounts change, thresholds move, the law rewrites itself. Valoren watches the figures that matter (April 2027's pension change among them) and your annual review keeps the dossier describing the household you actually have.

WE CHECK IN

A quiet check twice a year. If nothing's changed, you say so in one click.

Your records are always yours to export — leaving is one click, no exit interview. Renewal keeps the system awake; export only preserves the paper.

Nothing is added at the end, and nothing is ever a percentage of your estate. Renewals shown up front, always.

FAQ

How it works — questions, answered.

Yes. For most households the will is prepared directly through Valoren — a straightforward will is included in The Household Continuity Dossier, or on its own from £149.

The system already holds who you are, what you own and who needs protecting, so the will follows from your records rather than a blank form.

Where the situation is genuinely complex — blended families, business interests, overseas assets — a specialist steps in, with everything already prepared.
In many cases the appointment isn't needed at all.

When it is, you arrive with everything prepared — the records, the figures, the questions — so the professional advises instead of searching.
The person you named receives one link. No account, no password.

A confirmation gate checks the release is real, then everything unseals in order: the first-day brief, the letters, your messages. They act, not investigate.
Your records are yours — export everything, one click, no exit interview.

What stops is the living part: the watching, the reviews, the advisor, the release machinery standing ready.
The first sitting is about 25 minutes.

There's no deadline and nothing to finish in one go — the dossier grows whenever you have ten minutes for it.
The design assumption is that no single person, page or password should unlock everything.

Records and access routes are kept apart, release runs through named people and recorded gates, and printed copies live where you keep them — not with us.
The Valoren Principles

Seven commitments about your time, your money, and your patience.

Never ask twice. Anything you tell us once becomes part of your household's record. Everything after that draws on it.
Every question earns its place. If a question doesn't change what you receive, we don't ask it.
The price you see is the whole price. Every price is shown before you start — renewals included. Nothing is added at the end, and nothing is ever a percentage of your estate.
The answer lives beside the question. Help that makes you leave the page isn't help.
We tell you when it isn't for us. Some situations need a regulated professional. When yours does, we say so — and hand over everything already prepared.
Speed is respect. Much of this paperwork lands on people in the worst weeks of their lives. Waiting is a cost, so we treat it like one.
Yours, not ours. Your record belongs to your household. Print it, hand it to your solicitor, or take it and leave.

Twenty-five minutes now. A household that knows what to do, for good.
