Standard Index Group: the institution behind Valoren.

Valoren is operated by Standard Index Group, forming in England & Wales to maintain personal records with the discipline a serious life deserves.

01The company

Standard Index Group.

Standard Index Group is in formation in England & Wales.

Holds Valoren — its sole product.

Independently owned. Holds no client funds. Operates under the law of England and Wales.

The work is to maintain the discipline that makes personal records hold up year after year — across quarterly check-ins, annual reviews, and the day everything else stops.

Software is the means. The institution is the substance.

Valoren does not sell software. Valoren keeps the family record, and lets you keep the key.

The broader system
An institution is easiest to judge by what it actually maintains.

Standard Index Group operates one product. Valoren's 33 records are the discipline this page describes, applied to your own household — held current, visible to the people who need them.

Continuity layer

What this becomes inside Valoren

Stored in your records system

The information you've just shared lives in your Valoren records — encrypted, organised, ready when you or your trusted person needs it.

This page is one part of a larger system.

A document decides what happens once. Valoren's 33 records cover everything your executor needs to actually act — held current, visible to the people who need them.

Kept current for you

Tax thresholds change. Pension rules change. Family circumstances change.

Your records system updates the relevant outputs when they do — no need to redo this.

Surfaced when it matters

The right document for the right moment. Day-one of a bereavement. A capacity event. An executor's first hour.

The system already knows what to produce.

Visible to the people who need it

Your trusted person sees what you've chosen to share, when you've chosen to share it.

No password handover. No "where are the documents." A real continuity layer above your will.

02The work

What Standard Index Group does.

A mandate of three. A refusal of two. The boundary is part of the definition.

MandateThree things, on the record
IOperate

Valoren

A disciplined system for organising the records every adult life requires, for UK residents in England and Wales.

Thirty-three records. Protocols that activate when customers cannot. The sole product the company maintains.

IIMaintain

The infrastructure that holds records to standard

Encryption. Audit log. Annual review cycle.

Protocols that activate when customers cannot. The discipline is the product. The rest is delivery.

RefusalTwo things, by design
IVDoes not

Provide regulated financial or legal advice

Where scope ends, customers engage solicitors, IFAs, or accountants. Valoren prepares the record they will need.

VDoes not

Hold client funds

Standard Index Group is a records and protocols company. It does not custody money, securities, or assets of any kind.

The boundary is part of the definition.

From reading to ready

This guide is free, and it stays free. The Household Continuity Dossier renders your household's own version — your people, your accounts, your wishes — into a maintained record your executor or trusted person will actually reach for, kept current every year.

03What we believe

Three commitments.

Everything a will always assumed existed.

IDiscipline

Discipline over features

The work of governing a life deserves sustained attention — not consumer-software polish.

Organising one's affairs, choosing trusted authorities, and preparing the people who'll need them is too important to be done by a product that treats it as a series of features.

IIContinuity

Continuity over convenience

A record made today and never updated is worse than no record.

It tells the people relying on it information that is no longer true. Annual review and quarterly check are not features. They are the work.

IIIRefusal

Refusal as definition

What Valoren refuses defines it as much as what it provides.

There are records Valoren has chosen never to hold (master access codes, ceremonial WARRANTs, S-Series air-gap content). There is advice it deliberately does not give.

04ES-2026

The standard the company exists to maintain.

The ES-2026 Personal Governance Standard is a published specification covering the thirty-three records that make up a complete personal-governance system, the protocols that activate them, and the discipline by which they are maintained.

The standard is archived independently on SSRN and the Internet Archive, with source under version control on GitHub. It exists in the public domain — citable, datable, and independent of any single company.

The standard governs us. We do not govern it. If Standard Index Group ceased trading tomorrow, the standard would remain, your filled records would remain, and any compliant successor could implement it.

This is not a marketing claim. It is the entire reason ES-2026 is published rather than kept proprietary.

The founder, on record

The work speaks.
Not the personality.

Standard Index Group is operated by a named, accountable founder, whose name will appear on the public register once the company is incorporated.
Its substance — the records it organises, the protocols it prepares, the standard it follows — is what represents the company publicly.

07The institutional family

Five disciplines, three entities. One continuous standard.

Valoren is the consumer-facing arm of an institutional structure in formation. Research, certification, stewardship, and consumer delivery are each held in a distinct entity — so that no single authority can degrade standards through commercial pressure.

Research
SENRA
Develops technical specifications. Researches operational failures. Drafts the corpus.
Certification
Standard Index Group
Verifies compliance with ES-2026. Audits. Authorises use of the standard mark.
Stewardship
Standard Index Group
Governance oversight. Maintains the 2126 public-domain release commitment.
Century custody
SENRA
Standard for Estate Notation, Records & Archiving.
Consumer arm
Valoren
Family continuity product for England and Wales. Implements the institutional disciplines at household scale.
● Public corpus

Maintained, cited, and verifiable.

The corpus is held in external public archives — SSRN and the Internet Archive — with source under version control on GitHub. Each paper is independently citable by abstract ID or archive identifier. The 2126 public-domain release commitment applies across all deposits.
