Section 1

The person who has died

Their name heads every letter. The date of death is the date every deadline is computed from.

As the institutions would hold it. The letters carry it in the facts so the right account is found first time.

Section 2

The registration

● ready

If the death has been registered, the calendar records it done and Tell Us Once runs from that date. If not yet, the File says what happens at the register office.

Section 3

Who is acting

The executor signs every letter. Their correspondence address is where the acknowledgement cards and the banks' written confirmations return.

The acknowledgement cards print this address as their return route — without it, each institution replies to whatever address the executor writes on.

Section 4

The institutions

One letter is prepared per institution named here. Names and last four digits only — never full account numbers, never passwords.

Banks and building societies
One letter per institution — sole accounts are frozen; a joint account keeps operating for the surviving holder, and the letter asks the right one.
Pensions
Workplace or private. The letter stops payments and asks what death benefit is payable, and to whom.
Insurers
Life, home, car — the letter registers the death against the policies and asks for the cover position in writing.
At least one institution is needed — the letters are the File.
Section 5

The household

The Kit's six parts — who the family calls first, where things are kept, the legal position. Answer what you know; nothing is guessed.

The details. Your device. Your control.

Answers stay on this device until you pay
Saved locally while you fill them in. They reach our secure server only when you continue to payment — used solely to prepare the File.
No account numbers, sort codes or passwords
Institution names and the last four digits of a reference — enough for a bereavement team to find the account, never enough to use it.
Prepared from these details, read before it sends
Every letter is prepared from what you enter, then read through by a person before anything is sent — nothing goes out unread. Guidance, not legal, tax, or probate advice.
One transaction. Nothing else follows.
No portal account. No subscription. No renewal. No marketing list. Valoren's 14-day goodwill refund applies if the File doesn't suit you.
