Two ways in — answer everything online and get your scope by email, or book the free 20-minute call. Both free. No obligation either way.
What happens after you send it
Low-friction, no surprises. You're requesting a written scope, not committing to a build.
You tell us where things stand
A few questions below — no documents needed yet. Just the shape of the household and what's prompting this. Say as much as you like; the more you tell us, the sharper the scope.
We scope the work from your answers
No call, no chasing. Your answers are scoped against the Estate Standard 2026 and turned into a written scope specific to your matter.
Your scope and quote arrive by email
Within two business days: exactly what the work involves, what we'd need from you, and a written price. Reply to proceed — or ask for the call at any point.
In a household engagement, reserved or regulated steps are carried out by the qualified professional whose authorisation covers them, under their own regulator and their own complaints route, named in your engagement terms before work begins. Signum itself is the specialist practice of the Standard Index Group — not a firm of solicitors, and not authorised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) or the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Engaging Signum does not create a solicitor-client relationship with Signum, and Signum's own work is not covered by the SRA's minimum-terms professional indemnity insurance or the SRA Compensation Fund. Signum does not hold estate funds — money moves between the estate's own accounts, the executors and the beneficiaries, and any client money for reserved legal work is held by the authorised lane responsible for it, never by Signum. A complaint about Signum's own work comes to Signum first and is acknowledged within two working days, as set out in our terms.
